Windows Mail is defective I want to ship Ultimate back

No I don't want Office so shove that noise.
I want Outlook Express which was packaged with Internet Explorer for the 5
years.
Windows mail is a substandard sharewarre product I would'nt even bother to
beta test.
No longer functions with msn hotmail.
OE does for paid accounts.
Message filters don't work.
The help files and system is useless.

I want to ship Vista back for Media Center 2005.
It's been 9 months and the product is still junk.
 
You obviously haven't done your homework.
Maybe if you stamp your feet real hard and threaten to
hold your breath... :-)

Well in nine months you should have found out about Window's Live Mail
Beta.

While it has the name Beta, It is no more Beta than Window's Mail. ;-)

It is the Vista version of OE.

It is a free download. Give it a try.

In the future, a little less grip and a little more sugar might make for
a more pleasant day.
 
Thank you for your responses. I tried Live mail beta and the interface is
just as convoluted as the web interface not to mention again, the hotmail
accounts quit working with it too. I can understand some issues with spammers
trying to abuse the service as well. I have used hotmail for my primary
address for many years and just find the changes overcomplicating use badly.
Even pasting an image into an email has over complicated results. I would
prefer Outlook Express be made available again because quite literally it was
a better tool than any of these.
 
Well I have to say in the last 3 months I paid the same amount for My Live ID
for hotmail as I have for my Yahoo ID. Yahoo has worked with everything
without fail. Hotmail fails 75% of the time to function with any use. And yes
I mean any use as in posting to the web, using it with mail clients, my
iPhone. It just goes on and on.
How can MS botch this so badly with their own products and interfaces?
