I renewed my subscription to Norton Internet Security. It has affected the
Vista's Windows Mail program. I receive mail okay but if the email contains
a link and I click it, the computer hangs. Nothing works and I have to use
Ctrl-Alt-Delete in order to make the computer work again.

I have contacted Norton but they have no answers and they advised me to
contact MS because it is Vista's fault. Windows Mail was working fine before
this version of Norton's was installed. Are there any solutions to this
problem? Am I the only one that this has happened to? I really appreciate
any help to fix this. Thanks!

Have you tried disabling Norton's mail checking features?

Remove Norton and don't replace it with McAfee. They both screw up Vista
even more that they screwed up WinXP. Neither allows WinMail to work
correctly.

Norton Internet Security is not compatible with Windows Mail.
Try to get your money back.

LOL. You think Norton is going to admit that it is their fault. Norton screws up Windows Mail and every other email client. Get rid of it and try and get your money back. Both Norton and MacAfee is not very compatible with Windows Mail. Use a free AV like Avast,AVG,Nod32 and etc. They will work and much better.

Hey, Peter. Just want to clarify a part of your post in case
someone reads it the wrong way- NOD32 is not free.
Although, it is worth every penny and then some. The best
AV, IMO.
