When in Windows Mail, clicking the HELP menu option "View Help" or pressing
the F1 key brings up an error message with the white X on a red background
button. It is titled "Internet Explorer cannot download / from Windows."

The associated message reads..."Internet Explorer was not able to open this
Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.
Please try again later."

I have tried dozens of times and never get the HELP file to open. Another
small download window opens but it never progresses. A third HELP and
Support window opens, but it never populates with anything.

This is on a new Gateway FXG530GX computer I received two weeks ago. This
same thing occurs in other programs as well. My Internet connection is via
Cable Broadband.

I sure would appreciate any help from you all to resolve this issue. The
HELP files are invaluable to me, and it would help to fully comprehend the
changes to Windows Mail in VISTA.

Thanks much.

Since this is a system wide question, you will probably get advice by
posting to the Vista Operating System news group.

Sorry I can't help more.
