When I run Windows mail the splash screen displays, then after the splash
screen nothing happens?

I can see the process from taskmanager but i cannot see the mail program.

Nothing is minimised so where is my mail program?

I know it is still running because when it checks for new mail i hear the
tone for new mail arriving but i cannot see the program running ?

I have not installed anything for days, it worked fine when i shout my
laptop down. then when i started windows again everything worked fine, the
splash screen displayed and when i thought the program window would open
there was nothing?

Please! Anyone! this is driving me crazy!!! I am receiving email all the
time but cannot see the program running let alone the emails?

Any ideas please!

Try Ctrl+Alt+Del key combination>Start task manager>select applications tab,
does Windows Mail show as running or not?
If it does select it and hit the 'Switch To' button.
Does WM show now?

Thanks, but No it didnt work.

From the task manager WinMail is not showing in applications, however if i
look in processes i can see WinMail.exe

If i select to stop the process WinMail.exe, then from the folder I right
click the WinMail.exe and run as administrator it performs the same:

I get the splash screen and then nothing? but within proccesses it displays
WinMail.exe running?

Windows Vista! or Windows Beta!

Anymore idea's appriciated.

Sorry I think that this could be more of an OS or display problem than a WM
one? Watch here for other ideas, but nip over to
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general newsgroup and post there too.

Thanks, will do
