I'm so frustrated with ALL the problems that I'm having with Windos Mail that
I'm about to install the WMUtil fix mentioned earlier in these posts for
Windows Mail, but am wondering who Stephen L. Cochran, Ph.D. is that is
supplying the fix since I will be downloading it at my own risk? Is he a
consultant to MS? Is Microsoft going to come out with a fix?

LONG time here contributing help and writing many programs to help with the deficiencies in OE and WM.

I use the program regularly, its safe. just make sure WM is NOT running when you try to use it.

You obviously have not been active in Microsoft newsgroups if you
don't know who Steve Cochran is. If you want to research him, why not
use Google for that?

Whether Microsoft will come out with a fix for Windows Mail and
how soon -- is anybody's guess.
Microsoft has stated that the Windows Live Mail beta released May 31
is a replacement for Windows Mail.

I've been involved with OE and now WinMail issues since 1997. I've been an
MVP since 1998, but that is my only association with Microsoft.

You don't have to use my programs.
