Wow, I need some help trying to export my mail messages from one Windows Mail
program (Vista) to another Windows Mail Program (Vista). The Export program
keeps giving me an error that I do not have enough disk space, but I have 60
gig of free space on the external hard drive I am using. How do I avoid
having this crazy error message? I was able to export the mail contacts but
not the messages.

Which export program? You may want to try Vista's Windows Easy transfer.

Thanks for the reply. I can't use windows transfer because the exporting
computer has a number of corrupted files/programs so a replacement computer
was sent to me. I do not want those corrupted files/settings on the
replacement computer, so I am selectively copying and transfering files. The
mail program is the Windows Mail program that comes with Vista. The mail
messages are being exported to an external hard drive and then imported on to
Windows Mail (Vista) program.

You can use the custom settings in Windows Easy Transfer to transfer
just the mail data. No program files will be transferred in any case.

Thanks Gary. I will give it a try.
