Windows Mail does not work

My Mail has not worked for three days. Does it have something to do with the
windows upgrade? This is getting ridiculous. nearly every post in here is
having the same problem....this is a windows problem....not individuals
computers. would it help to go back to a recover poiont and get rid of those
last updates?
 
What windows upgrade ?
What did you upgrade to ?
Upgrade and updates are 2 different animals. Which is it ?

Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

The reason every problem posted here relates to Windows Mail is because
the group is designated specifically for problems with Windows Mail.

Your post is rather like asking "Why is it raining" - there is no
information in it ti diagnose the problem. Are you using the mail
application that comes with Vista or Windows Live Mail or something else?

Do not post you full email address here but who is the provider (The
part after the @ sign). Perhaps they are having problems with their
servers, it does happen you know.

Do you run an anti virus or security program that supposedly "Scans"
email as it comes in. These programs are notorious for causing trouble
after a time.
