Windows Mail- Deleting Mail

When I try to permanently delete messages in the "Deleted Folder" I get this
message:
Message could not be displayed. Windows Mail encountered an unexpected
problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or
low disk space and try again". I've got 2 gigs of memory and tons of disk
space. Any suggestions on how I can get these emails deleted. ANY email
that goes into this folder has the same problem.

Can you drag the message to your Junk Mail folder?
