Windows Mail crashes while retreiving messages

This just started happening. As Mail is retrieving my messages, it gets to
the last one, and then shuts down. Any ideas?

Can you log onto the mail server using webmail? If you can, try logging
on this way, finding that last message, and deleting it.
 
Thanks, that seems to be it. It was a spam message that must have been
trying to run a Java script or something.

I got same thing but have not been able to fix it as my messages are not
saved on server what can I do?
