Windows Mail ( + Contacts, Calendar, Tasks) and PDA sync?

Hi

Is it correct that Windows Mail can't sync with a PDA (Windows Mobile 5) and you still have to install
Outlook in some version?
If yes, then i beleive that those components are quite unusable for a large number of people.

Currently i use TB for mail, and Outlook 2002 (came with my PDA) for contacts, calendar and tasks, but
i would really like to try the Windows Mail system when i receive my new Vista PC, and get rid of
the to other programs.
