G Gary VanderMolen Jun 23, 2007 #2 I presume by "explorer" you mean Internet Explorer (IE). In Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties, Connection tab, verify that the settings are grayed out, meaning IE's settings will be used. Gary VanderMolen
