windows mail compact

thanks for the info, I thought when it compacted it deleted some emails and
I'm sure I had emails deleted that I didn't delete. People I hadn't contacted
in a few months but their email was important to me. How do I control my own
deleting of emails. So I can keep the important ones with out printing a
hard copy. (paper too much)
