Hi, Windows Mail recently stopped being able to send mail. I'm running with
Windows Onecare - so I reset the firewall to no avail. My collegue who runs
the same set up also has the problem.
I used telnet [server] 25 to our mail servers and they're working fine.
Installed Thunderbird using same account details and it sends fine! It just
sits there timing out - warning every 60 seconds... in this case when you
stop the message says:
Subject 'Re: ', Account: 'mail.******.com', Server: 'mail.******.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19
Has there been a buggy patch sent down from Microsoft?
Help!!!
