Why is it that Smart Mouse works on some Yes & No prompts and not others, it
really looks like Windows Mail was thrown into Vista as an after thought,
sure could use a lot of improvements

I don't know if you really expect an answer with such a poorly worded
question as that. Are you asking about a KVM switch, some type of software
you are using, or some type of hardware that is manufactured. In any such
case, the first place to start would be a user group for that switch,
software or hardware, but posting here without that absolute minimum of
information is not going to engender too many answers. Sorry.

Of course, you could always use Google:
http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=Smart+Mouse&btnG=Google+Search

Smart Mouse = Automatically moves pointer (cursor) to the default button in
a dialog box, where you need to make a selection either Yes or No

I think if you look in Control Panel/Mouse applet, you'll find that option
is called "Snap To" rather than Smart Mouse. But, I have no idea why it's
not working for you if selected in Control Panel. You might try
reinstalling your mouse driver and software and see if that helps. If not,
then you would probably get better answers by posting your question in a
newsgroup for hardware for Vista.

Thanks Jim, I've tried everything you've mentioned, just doesn't work in
Windows Mail, it works fine in all other Vista apps.

This is the same prob I describe in "Disabled "Snap to"... on 3/3 here in
Mail - replied to by none other than 'Majik'-with a referal to Shell team;
and over in Hardware and Devices on 3/10 with "Mouse_Snap to....", with a
reply from "." and "dean-dean" that make sense---I just lost a reply/query
'over there', so I'll try to ask here---- where do I 'send this up to', so
it's on the right desk for action?
