I have a new computer running Vista, and am using Windows Mail. Is there any
way to move my old, saved E-mails from my old computer running Win XP and
Outlook to the new system?
Windows Mail does not seem to recognize the Outlook .pst file system.

I am having the same trouble, I am unable to transfer emails from outlook
Express and I am not getting all of my emails on Vista. most of our emails
are coming in on our other computer that has Outlook. What should we do.
I get a few emails on Windows vista but most all, 98% are in Outlook?

My sources say no there isn't. Now i wish i had Outlook on this computer as
well How much trouble would it be to switch to Outlook do you think and
would it be worth it?

You can download the evaluation copy of Office and then do the import that
way.

I have windows mail but don't like it plus am finding that it doesn't work
with OneNote etc I was told incorrectly by several computer services that I
could order it separately. How much of a hassle is it to switch to an office
program that has Outlook. I know there is a cost . I just got this
computer a monthe ago. Does Dell help with this?

Hi Bill, did you solve the problem in the meantime? I have exactly the same
problem and spend days to move address-book and e-mails from Office/Outlook
under XP on my old computer tot Webmail under Vista on my new computer.

Thanks in advance for you reaction,

Wim Nyssen
