i have more than one user account on my pc but we all share same email
address, I set the first user up to windows mail and everything is working
fine, when i tried to set up the 2nd user i did exactly the same thing and it
said it worked however user1 is receiving the emails and user 2 isnt. Any
ideas?

You have 2 email programs retrieving email from the same server account.
If you want each program (& user) to get the same email, then you will have
to set at least one of them to leave the mail on the server. 1 gets the
mail, but leaves it on the server, the other gets the mail, and deletes it
on the server.
But, you may want to set both up to leave the mail on the server, because
you don't know which user will get the mail first. If you do leave the mail
on the server, set it to be deleted after x days, so it won't fill up your
mailbox.

Tools - Accounts - your account - Properties - Advanced - delivery - [x]
leave a copy of messages on server
[x] remove from server after [ ] days

M,

Go to www.oehelp.com and get in contact with Steve Cochran. He will sell
you his program for $15 which allows you to have multiple Windows Mail
accounts like we used to have in Outlook Express. Steve's program worked
for me.

Let me know how things turn out.

Here's how to have two accounts with each receiving their own mail in
Windows Mail:

* Create a folder in LOCAL FOLDERS in Windows Mail
* Click on:
* TOOLS
* MESSAGE RULES
* MAIL
* NEW

Where the "To Line contains (type in the name on the subaccount)
Move it to the (folder you created for the subaccount in LOCAL FOLDERS)

Thanks Dave I did what you said and it worked perfectly.
