Every morning after I boot my desktop, Windows stops when
it can't find a mapped network drive to my laptop. I have
to click twice to accept and keep going. Do not show me
that screen again does not work. How can I get windows
just to keep going whether it find a drive or not.

1. Run Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider
3. Click Add Value on the Edit menu.
4. Enter the following values:

Value Name: RestoreConnection

Data Type: REG_DWORD

Value: 0

Setting this value to 0 causes Windows to ghost the connections.
5. Quit Registry Editor and restart Windows NT.

Thank you,
