I hope someone has a work around for me...but it's actually in Windows 2000.
BUt I built a computer for a friend about 2 years ago, and installed Win2000
on the machine and set it to auto-logon since it wasn't on a network. During
the installation, I don't remember what the actual log-on password was on
the machine. Well for some reason now the system quit auto-logging in and is
asking for that password. We have no clue what it is! Is there a way to get
into Windows here at all without reformatting? Or cracking the password?
ANything at all?

Thanks...

Chad

I don't think you have to reinstall it. Try repair on the
start up disk. It just goes over what is wrong. It worked
for xp. Good luck. If that doesn't work, call a place in
Costa Mesa, CA called PC Buzz they are great.
