Hi,
I work in a school where we share computers. We all log
on with our network passwords, but then the Windows
password comes up and sometimes depending on the computer
user they cannot get past this password. It is REALLY
causing us problems. How can I disable this for every
user?
Thanks
Cheryl.

.
Simple, you can ensure that all the user know the password
or you can set up your system to start without requiring a
password. Click user and password applet in the control
panel (your must be an administrator). Then uncheck the
check box next to "user must type a password and a name to
user this computer" (for windows 2000) and click ok. you
will see a text box asking for user name and a password.
you can type in any user name and password then Ok. the
next time you restart ur computer it will login into the
user name and wouldn't ask for a password .

I suggest you speak to your network administrator, as
disabling passwords in your environment is not a good
thing.
