My laptop resets itself intermittently, generating a blue screen. Probably
is though, that the blue screen disappears too quickly and I am unable to
read the entries. Is there anyway of finding a log of the events, when I
reboot and reading what was generated in the blue screen.

I assume you are running 2000 or XP. You can disable automatic reboot
from control panel -> system -> advanced -> startup and recovery
settings. Under system failure you can uncheck the automatic reboot
which should give you the blue screen information when it happens :)

Yes a log is created (unless you have disabled this feature) in fact usually
two. User.dmp and memory.dmp they should be on the root of c: if you can not
find them after rebooting you can search your computer for *.dmp

However, unless you know what you are doing, interpreting the information
can be quite a task.
