Windows log in problem

Hi

I don't like the fact that when I switch the PC on it faffs about then gives
me the choice of which user to log onto.

There is only me so I have to click that before it proceeds making it a two
stage process.

It didn't used to be like that and you should be able to boot straight into
the desktop if you want

Can anyone tell me how sort it so pc just boots up as I am the only user

If you want to Autologon onto Windows:

Download TweakUI from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx and
when installed go to Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI - then go to
Logon>Autologon

Type "control userpasswords2" [without quotes] in Start > Run.
Uncheck the option "User must enter a ....." , click ok . If prompted for
your password , type it.
