I've had a problem with spyware and i've been advised to restart the laptop and reconfigure msconfig with safe mode, the laptop starts up and then it prompts a sign on request - my access doesn't work although i have admin access. is there a way to reset the laptop ? or bypass the admin settings

this is drivin' me up the wall!!!!!!!

errm don't think my name is appropriate ... how can i change this?
