Windows Lock Problem

Hi Group
I am really thankful to this Group. I got many of my problem resolved with
this group.

This time my problem is:

- While pressing on "ctrl+alt+del", the windows security opens. I have 6 -
option and "Lock Computer" is one of them.
- This button is greyed out. User is not able to lock the computer.

Can anyone provide me the solution for the same or is there any registry
setting should i make.

For the user where you see the problem please check the following re.value:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System],"DisableLockWorkstation". It should be set to 0 or not set at all.

I didn't find this key
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] in
Registry.
So I am not able to see "DisableLockWorkstation".
What should I do in this case.

Well.. If the value is not there the policy is not set, and the system behaves as though the value is 0.

Then I don't know why the Lock Computer button is grayed out for you.

Just in case, check out the same reg policy for all (default) users:
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System],"DisableLockWorkstation"
[HKUS\.DEFAULT\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System],"DisableLockWorkstation"
