Released today. I just installed on XP Pro.

Forgot I had Windows Defender Beta 2 on there.

What to do now ? Nothing ugly has happenned, but OneCare probably
incorporates a more recent version of WD , correct ?

Ugh! :( Which antivirus did you have originally? Windows OneCare is one of
the worst and most inexperienced anti-virus products out there. If you've
bought Windows OneCare in order to "escape" high priced anti-virus products,
you should've picked NOD32 which delivers excellent, world class protection,
detection, and removal: http://www.eset.com/purchase/index.php as you can
see here, it's even cheaper than Windows OneCare and is about 10 times more
powerful and comprehensive. In regards to your original question, Windows
Defender BETA 2 is the latest version and I believe you don't need to
uninstall Windows Defender (actually I don't even think OneCare comes with
Defender). If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will come by and correct me. In
the mean time, please consider switching to NOD32 for your own good (relax,
I'm not a salesman for anyone... I'm only in 9th grade.)
