I used the One Care for over a year, then as I mentioned awhile back it would
not update and after numerous calls to the one care people fixing etc, it
would get fixed then could not do the downloads, as I just renewed my
subscription i contacted their billing and I did get my money refunded.

Is the One Care update problem still going on?

If you mean general update problems with the signatures, there have been far
fewer issues with this of late. The standard troubleshooting applies:

If you encountered problems with the update from 1.6 to 2.0, there were some
issues that mostly happened due to services not running on the PC. There are
still some residual issues with this, but the latest build seems to be less
of a problem for those issues, too.

Wow someone who know OneCare.

OK. How come OneCare has such a poor catch rate ?

About the only malware it is "good" at are the ZLob Trojan variants.

BTW: I used to communicate with R. Treit when OneCare was initially launched and I got him
to put the malware submission email address outside the Microsoft email content filters
which used to block malware submissions.
