I've downloaded and installed Windows Live Mail because some of the
'features' in Outlook Express don't work in Windows Mail. I'll elaborate if
needed.

I was disappointed with Live mail as it doesn't provide me with the ability
to edit the 'source' like OE or Windows Mail does; at least I wasn't able to
find it. Seems to me that Live works more like Outlook Mail than Outlook
Express.

Anyway, if anyone can provide an answer as to editing the source in Live
mail I would appreciate it.

Mike

That is one feature that is missing in WLM.
If you really need to edit HTML source code (few users do), then
the only workaround is to copy/paste the source (Ctrl+F3) into
Notepad, do your editing there, then copy/paste back into WLM.

Sorry, I've never used a signature with an image, so I can't
give you the benefit of my experience.

This newsgroup is dedicated to the Windows Mail program.
If you are using Windows Live Mail, you will get more help by
posting in the WLM newsgroup:

or via your news reader: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

The 4K limit is for the HTML file. The "file name" you mentioned below
refers to the file that contains the binary code for the graphics image.
The image should not be embedded in the HTML file but merely
referenced by it.

Good luck.
There may be some specific tricks or limitations in Windows Live
Mail that us WinMail experts aren't aware of.

Outlook Express sender has forward me a docement with "embedded image
documents" but Vista Mail doesn't show the documents for me to open. Is it
something on my end or Outlook Express sender?

"Gary VanderMolen [MVP]" <[email protected]> escribió en el mensaje de
noticias Are you sure the sender is using Outlook Express? If you meant Outlook,
