Hi Everyone,
I've been invitied to install Windows Live Mail Desktop by e-mail. As sure
as anything, I have downloaded and installed the Beta software and start
using it.
I run into a problem when opening the application. I am given the error:
"Starting Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta for the first time requires an
online connection. Please connect to the Internet and then try again. Contact
Microsoft support for further assistance. (0x80048883)"
I couldn't understand why that came up - I've always been on the internet
and "Working Online" when receiving the error. Pressing OK leads onto the
next error:
"Windows Live Mail Beta could not be started because msmail.dll could not be
initialized. Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta may not be installed correctly."
Having taken the hint, I have uninstalled and re-installed WLMDB a couple of
times, and have restarted inbetween each. No luck with that.
Does anyone else have the same issue?
Thanks.
- Andrew
