Wake up Microsoft! I have tried to tell you that Windows XP security updates
KB909531, KB011562 or KB912812 are flawed but no-one at Technical Support
seems to grasp what is happening even though there are already several posts.
When these are installed and Office XP program will freeze if you try to use
the "Open" or "Save As" utilities.
Get your act together before you get swamped with complaints.

For some people. I downloaded and installed all the updates on three
computers with no problems whatsoever.

FYI:
After installation of "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for
Windows XP (KB912812)" my Oracle Jinitiator 1.3.1.23 plugin failed to work
properly: It showed our application's logon screen but I was unable to enter
any of the items nor could I click a button. It was as if the application's
screen was disabled. I was forced to uninstall this security update.

Just in case anyone encounters the same issue.
