I FINALLY installed XP and have been having problems with windows rebooting everytime i try to install a program. Its nothing specific but just about everything i try to install. When Windows reboots and i get that "send error" window it says that its a driver error but thats it. Is there any program or even something in windows that can check to see what files are being problematic and causing it to do this. I was told that there's something on the XP disc that can check to see if all of the XP files are working fine is this true
Thank
Nate

sounds like the mblaster worm get the critical updates and or the USB
one it is known to cause XP to reboot for no reason. Windows update at
Microsoft.

Hi Nate,

G to Start > Run and type cmd <press enter> and then sfc/ scannow to
check that protected system files have not been corrupted, it will ask
for the XP CD.

Hope this helps.

You may have some hardware and or software that is not compatable with XP .
Did you run the Upgrade Advisor on the XP disk? Jym
