Windows Internet Explorer cannot open in full screen after SP2.

After installing SP2, my Internet Explorer 6 still show a status bar at the
bottom of the screen even in full screen mode.

Please advise.

Try the following and see if it helps:

IE opens a maximized window shifted down and to the right.

The Status Bar provides important security zone information.

While in Full Screen mode press Alt-V and remove the check mark from the
Status Bar.
