I keep getting this error when i try to install things,
but also when i try and install things it just keeps
dissappearing! Save me .

Error: -1601 The Windows Installer Service could not be
accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe
mod or if the windows installer is not correctly installed.
 
Sounds like you have the windows installer disabled, Have you went into
services and made sure its set to automatic. Then reboot your machine.
