Windows Installer / Help Installing Handspring Device

Trying to install the software that came with new
Handspring Treo 600 PDA/phone, I mistakenly installed it to
the XP admin profile instead of my user profile. Now when I
try to uninstall the software from admin, there is an error
message saying it cannot find the Windows Installer. And
everything is running sluggish, can't open Explorer or
Control Panel, etc. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks.
 
Try this, in the Admin profile, use System Restore to take you back to a
time prior to the installation. Start\All Programs\Accessories\System
Tools\System Restore.
