I am trying to install Kodak camera software but it says
there is no windows installer. At the MS download for
Installer it says:
"Windows XP contains Windows Installer 2.0 and therefore
can't be installed or upgraded by this redistributable."
Question - how can I reinstall the program or is there a
way to activate it? I have installed many programs since
getting Xp so it is probably there but broken or
something.

Windows Installer error
Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 msi.dll
then
Go to Start/Run and type
SFC /SCANNOW
Make sure you have your WinXP CD in the CD Drive before executing the SFC
command.
