I have this interesting problem, this barebone system that i need to repair
has no FDD or CD Rom, nor can just plug one in... it had a recovery partition
but that went when the hard drive crashed, the bios supports booting from USB
& Lan, so i need a solution to deploy WindowsXP Setup files to this computer

Install from USB Key -> HDD would be the prefferd method if possible...

Any help with this would be greatly appretiated

If you can get it to boot to anything - you can get Windows XP installed.

You cannot 'just plug one (CD) in' - but you can use a 'USB device'?
Why cannot you use a USB CD drive?

This computer is weird, it has only one sATA port, not 2... No FDD or IDE
controllers or PCI slots, so i'm very limited on options.

Also, I dont have access to a external optical drive... so thats why i need
to build a usb drive setup

Buy an external USB CD-ROM drive and boot the Windows XP setup cd with
it. These drives can be purchased for as little as $20 or $25.

Is possible with enough RAM. You create a BartPE ISO image (integrate
your network drivers) and follow BartPEs instructions on how to make the
USB device bootable. Then boot and install XP via network. If the
USB-Device is big enough, you can copy XP CDs contents on it and install
from there. Use I386\winnt32.exe for setup.
