Windows Install program trying to install FP2002

About every 10 minutes or so, the windows install program attempts to install FR2002. I already have FP 2002 loaded, and cannot seem to get rid of this aggravation...I have to stop it each time it pops up....it is doing this automatically, without any prompting from me...how do I stop this??

Have you let the install run? Once it completes it shouldn't happen again.

I did as you suggested and it appears to have worked...not sure why I had to
do this, since I already had it installed and have had it installed for a
few years now...but thanks for letting me know, it was getting very
aggravating...TA

This is generally not related to the actual program, but
more to do with a corrupt installer package. It is a very
common thing to happen with applications that use the MSI
installer packages- be it MS or other applications. A few
years ago Dell was having issues with their Picture Studio
Software- the images used to clone the machines has a
corrupt MSI file on it.

As others have stated, best thing to do is let it do what it
wants, and the problem should go away
