Hello,
I have a serious problem here. I tried to install Ubuntu linux and long
story short I didn't like it so I removed it's partitions and then made the
windows partition back to its original size.
I ran CHKDSK /R before and after the partition size changes. Now when I use
Windows, the local disk size shrunk from ~95GB to ~80GB! The partition
Windows is on is ~95GB! How can I make Windows XP reset the hard drive limits
or something, so it is back to 95GB? Also.. Windows got slower overall with
the less space, even after a defrag.
Thanks,
Mark
NOTE: I already tried the repair option from the CD. I would rather not
reinstall XP.
