Windows image acquisition

Hello,

I want to know more about windows image acuisition and in which
softwares it is used? I want to have more information about it and know
wherethere it is a service or what? can you give me a url or some idea?

Yes, and also consider roseta some scanners won't work if it's disable
(older ones especially) and some will still work. I say that because some
people have had trouble when this service kicks off, cause it takes up alot
more processor resources. After they've scanned an image.
