The instruction at "0x01cf36a0" referenced memory at
"0x01cf36a0". The memory could not be "read"

I have multiple profiles on my windows xp home machine and
this error occurs on each one.

I've been having the same problem since the last auto
update with Windows XP Home. I have the ref'd IE update
Q818529. The link provided just takes me to the Windows
update screen. No updates available on scan.

What else?

Please email. These threads are a pain and I don't see my
original post from 7/9 5 a.m.

Hi again

Actually already downloaded the patch back on June 7th -
which is also right around the same time this problem
showed up?? Would appreciate further help.

Thanx.

Asked here, answered here. Try using OE as your newsreader, Siko, instead
of that lame web interface. Copy/paste this URL into your browser:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general

Crystal Ball© now says (to both Siko and Karen), "Uninstall Yahoo Companion
(Toolbar)."

Google Toolbar has recently been reported to also cause this problem for
some.
