D Dare Devil Sep 14, 2004 #2 Hello Kamal, Your request is generic, based on my experiense it is caused by 3rd party application Start -- Run -- type msconfig -- hit OK Go to Start up tab and start disabling the Start up items you will be requested to restart. all disabled application will not start at the next start up. try a restart now, does that resolve the issue?? if yes you need find out which application hangs when shutting down
