Windows XP Pro is giving corrupt media error with all
cdroms and the same cdroms will install fine on another
machine. I have tested memory and it is fine and I have
replaced all ide cables and my harddrive and cdrom and I
am still getting the error. I have reformated xp 3 times
and still getting the error. I am thinking might be a
corrupt xp cd. I was wondering what those here think the
problem might be.

Have you tried getting the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard, and
even the latest BIOS? I know some motherboards have corruption issues out
of the box, which are sometimes magnified by having Sound Blaster cards as
well.

If you need more help determining what motherboard you've got etc post back.
