I have just downloaded the new version of this tool from the microsoft update
site. I have choosen to disable this tool as is my right as the administrator
of my personal computer. However, even though it states the this tool is
managed by the administrator....ME..... I don't have access to it. I did have
access to it yesterday but not after I updated today. Why is this and how
can I get access back to enable or disable the add-on as I please.... Or even
delete it.... I am using a genuine copy of XP home that came with the machine
when i bought it.... I should be able to have the right to choose what
add-ons I do and do not want to have enabled.... Regards Mark.

Sorry, you'll need to ask this in a security group related to Windows XP.

This newsgroup is for questions about security in Access, the database
product that's part of Office Professional.

Mark, Why not e-mail Microsoft and ask them, I am afraid you may not get your
answer from here as this forum is dedicated to Microsoft Access, and Access
only. Rgds ZH
