Problems:
The monitor will turn off (black screen) for a second and turn back on.
There are fine lines running across the screen everytime I move the mouse.
Most times, comp. freezes while I enter my password for Windows or
afterwards (when Windows is opening).

I have no problem runnnig Safe Mode.
I have tried IDE Drive Diagnosis ( Error Code 0F00:133D Desc. IDE device
failed. Incompatible CD for testing)
I have tried System Restore twice to no avail.

I've been told by DELL support that I have a software issue!!

I've deleted Morpheus in Safe Mode since I've encountered this problem after
I installed it.

I've run Spybot, Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool to no avail.

Can anyone help me? I do not want to reinstall Windows since I have alot of
important data on my HD that I didnt back up. Please, someone help me!

maybe you can check the hertz rate. if it's set to the wrong freq. you can
get lines and the monitor will flicker, etc.... go into display, advanced,
trouble shooting. There you will find some options and adjustments.

Oh yeh, be sure you monitor cable is not wiggly loose on either end....

Thank you for the suggestion.
