I have Windows XP Home w/celeron processor, 256mb RAM. The
computer actually has more memory than I know what to do
with, so it is not a low memory issue. If I have two or
three windows open, one of which is IE6 browser, windows
tend to freeze up. I then open task manager and see that
IEXPLORE.exe has consumed the rest of CPU resources (most
often 95 to 97 percent). I close the task and everything
works fine. this is a pretty regular occurrence. any
thoughts? thnx. russ.
