Windows form goes blank

I have button that stores data directory information in a
text file and them creates a spreadsheet from the stored
directory information. Collecting the information in the
text file works properly. Once the application begins to
create the spreadsheet, all of the controls on the form
turn to white space. When the process of creating the
spreadsheet completes all of the labels, textboxes and
button appear properly in the form.

Any thoughts on what is hapening. WHere do I look to
solve this problem?

Hi,

The controls are turning white because they cant redraw themselves.
You need to come up with a way to allow the form to update itself every so
often while creating the controls. Take a look into using threading.
