First question:
I have to install SP2 to be allowed on college network.
So far it has failed twice. When done loading and
computer reboots, it won't go into windows it just keeps
re-booting over and over. Any thoughts?

2nd question:

When I try windows update steps to install SP2 first step
turns on automatic updates, 2nd tries to turn on Windows
firewall AND FAILS. When I try turning on Windows
Firewall manually, it says it CANNOT be turned on. Any
thoughts?

Thanks.

You don't have to. I would suggest that you visit GigaByte web site though
and see if there is a known issue with your board or a new BIOS. I have
installed SP2 on Asus NForce 2 boards with AMD Athlon XP 2800 without any
problem. I have also installed SP2 on older VIA chipset boards and they all
are running fine.

Joe - Regarding your 2nd question > I am having the same problem. I
uninstalled Norton Antivirus, and reinstalled SP2. Firewall comes on briefly
after rebooting, but then turns off - get the same error message that you get.
