I have just installed Microsoft Antispyware on a XP SP2
Machines and I can now no longer activate the Windows
Firewall ?

Message I get

Windows cannot start the windows firewall/internet
connection sharing (ICS) service

Same here. After downloading Microsoft Antispyware, I can't
activate my Windows Firewall. Any suggestions?

Same here: WinXP SP2.

Did MS Spyware detected the MS Firewall as a potential
treat and removed the windows firewall/internet
connection sharing (ICS) service? That would be hilarious!

I have the same freakin problem...thank god i could do a
system restore! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Do a system restore to a time/date before MS AntiSpyware
install.

Hoefully Microsoft will get onto this immediately!

Zone Alarm makes a good firewall and it's free. Try
Zonelabs.com and the Sp2 firewall really wasn't that good.
