Hi,
I am having problems configuring my Windows Firewall. I am running Windows
XP Pro and have just reinstalled SP2. Firewall was not working before I
reinstalled.
If I click on Windows Firewall in the Control Panel, I get the error 'Due to
an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings'
If I try to change it in Security Center, I get the following message 'We're
sorry. The Security Center could not not turn on Windows Firewall. Blah,
blah bla...'
I have searched the Microsoft website for a fix but it seems this problem is
not common...... I have also checked the settings using the suggestions
posted there.
I have also tried using the Network Connections but get the following error
'Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall
settings'
Has anyone seen this before and how do I fix it so that I can use the
firewall?
