After downloading and installing the MSAntiSpyware, my
windows firewall is off and can not be turned on. Even
though I follow the recommendations on tunring the
firewall back on or trying it manually, it will not. Did
one of the deleted spywares permanently disable my
firewall? Or is the MSAntiSpyware not working in
conjunction with my firewall? Or has the AntiSpyware
taken-over the job of my firewall? How do I get the
firewall back!!??
In addition, I have some errors in my startup. I have
Windows XP and after loading my personal settings during
startup, thre are a couple of error messages that appear
prior to my desktop icons. The errors indicate that the
system can not find basic things like "C:\program" and
ask me to check the spelling of the path... Of course,
after I click "ok" everything loads as normal. Is the
computer looking for the spyware that got into my system-
which is no longer there? How do I get rid of the
annoying error messages??
