Windows Firewall can not be ON

Hi all,

when i click on windows firewall in the windows security system to turn it
on i get this message: "Due to an unidentified problem, windows cannot
display windows filrewall settings" i want to know what is the problem and
how can i fix the problem and turn my windows firewall on. any help would be
appriciated.
