Hey there,

In windows messenger (also MSN messenger, windows live messenger, etc...)
you can use an .exe file to scan files for viruses that are transferred to
and from your PC.

What's the switch you would use with the exe-file to use symantec corporate
antivurs, version 10? Can't find the exe file to use anywhere, there's too
many in the symantec folder!

Thanks,

Dave.

You could try running a scan of a folder and then using Task Manager to
figure out which process it is, looking at CPU usage etc. Once you have
this try executing it with a leafname to see if it works.

RTFM may also apply :-)

Hey adamina,

I had tried that but the process doesn't seem to like being directly
referenced to... I've decided to just give up on it, I'm pretty security
conscious as it is anyways, think I'll just uninstall some of the messenger
thingies...

VPC32.exe should be the executable.

None intended.
